- Arbeitsstelle für Lehrwerkforschung und Materialentwicklung (ALM) - Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena: Die Arbeitsstelle für Lehrwerkforschung und Materialentwicklung versteht sich als eine Schnittstelle zwischen Lehrwerkanalyse und -forschung sowie Materialentwicklung in Zusammenarbeit mit Verlagen, Institutionen, Vereinen und anderen Trägern, welche die Vermittlung von Deutsch als Fremdsprache zum Ziel haben.
- Center for Language Education And Research (CLEAR), Michigan State University: The Center of Language Education and Research (CLEAR) at Michigan State University was established in 1996 as a Language Resource Center (LRC) through a Title VI grant from the U.S. Department of Education. As an LRC, CLEAR strives to promote and support the teaching and learning of foreign languages in the United States through its various projects and outreach activities.
- CILT The National Centre for Languages: CILT works to convince people of all ages, at all stages of learning and in all walks of life, of the benefits of learning and using more than one language. We do this by using our expertise as the National Centre for Languages to influence policy, spread best practice and to support the development of language professionals.
- Institute of Education, University of London: Module offered by the Institute of Education in which the theoretical orientations which underpin print and non-print language teaching materials are analysed.
- Materials Development Association:MATSDA brings together teachers, researchers, writers and publishers from all over the world to help inform the field of material development for language learning.
- Materials Writers: The establishment of a JALT National Special Interest Group for Materials Writers would be of great benefit to JALT members hoping to translate fresh teaching ideas into useful classroom materials by helping interested JALT members keep pace with the rapidly accumulating research data and evolving theoretical constructs of language teaching and learning.
